My parents bought me my first camera when I was about 9. I remember asking for the camera, but I can't remember why I wanted one. I know that my mom forced my siblings and I to pose for a shot at every family activity. Or maybe the sight of my dad running to beat the timer on his Canon AE1 is what sparked my interest.

Regardless of the reason, photography has been in my life ever since. Many instructors, classes, and assisting jobs later I decided to make photography my career. It is great to be passionate about work and to truly love what you do. There are very few things in life that bring me greater joy than to capture moments that will bring happiness for a lifetime.
